The Lautoka Soccer Association has revealed that five senior players were found to have lobbied other players to boycott the team’s training and not be part of the blues camp for the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants soccer tournament.

This was revealed during the Lautoka soccer council meeting last night where it was decided that these players will be suspended and necessary action will be taken against them.

President, Shalendra Prasad said some other players who also had been suspended have contacted him and are willing to play in the BOG.

Prasad said they will interview each of the suspended players today after which the names of those who went against the Association will be revealed.

Meanwhile, Lautoka plays its first match against Nasinu this Sunday at 12 noon at the TFL National Stadium in the Inkk Mobile BOG.
