Five overseas based players are expected to be in the final 15 member Fiji 7's team for the Rugby World Cup.

The 15 member team list was sent to the IRB last night.

Fijivillage understands Metuisela Talebula, Vereniki Goneva, Timoci Matanavou, Waisea Nayacalevu and Watisoni Votu are likely to be part of the team.

Meanwhile, after day one of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7's nearly all the overseas based players stood out.

Talebula, Goneva and Matanavou displayed some good rugby skills and were outstanding.
 
From the Westfield Barbarians team, Pio Tuwai looks good along with Seremaia Burotu who started slow yesterday morning but was impressive in the afternoon setting up tries and also scoring some.
 
Talebula was at his usual best setting play while Jasa Veremalua on one occasion ran 55 meters to score underneath the posts.
  
Leone Nakarawa of Army Green is another player knocking hard on the door to be selected and he was seen yesterday committing players and on one occasion he committed about four players.
  
Another player to watch out for in the Marist side is Jerry Tuwai who has a lot of speed to burn and is aggressive with ball in hand.
 
Looking at the day two of the Marist 7's, the second Cup eliminations have started where Army Green is playing Marist One, Red Rock will take on Wardens Gold, Yamacia is up against Sacred Heart, Natabua Gold will play Tale Brothers, Vaiala Samoa will play Westfield Barbarians and Police will take on Waimanu.

In the first Cup eliminations last night, Army Green thumped Cakaudrove Warriors 33-0, Marist One beat Western Wardens 19-0, Police beat Baravi Cudas 24-0, Yamacia defeated FTG Rugby 26-12, Sacred Heart edged Wardens Green 7-5 and Wardens Gold beat Japan 22-5.
