5 now questioned for murder
Three suspects were today sent to Savusavu by boat from Natovi this morning and they are now in police custody.
The fifth suspect was arrested in Nadonumai in Lami yesterday.
Director Police Operations SSP Waisea Tabakau said all the suspects will be charged and produced in court in the north as this is the jurisdiction of the Savusavu police.
Tabakau said more suspects are still at large.
Meanwhile, police are still questioning a 69 year old man who allegedly indecently assaulted two pre-school students in Suva on Thursday.
Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said the incident happened at a Kindergarten the four and five year olds girls attend.
The suspect is the grandfather of the victims' classmate.
The man allegedly lured the victims with sweets.
Police call on parents not to be complacent regarding their children and teach them not to accept anything from strangers.
