There is now more than five million in the Prime Minister's Rehabilitation Fund for flood affected victims and the revamping of severely damaged areas.

The Prime Minister's office confirmed that as of today, there is $5.8 million in the account.

There is still no word from Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama on when a list will be made and released on those organizations, schools and people who will be the recipients of these funds.

However, it is understood that the different provincial offices are putting together a report which will be submitted to the PM's office after which a list will be compiled.

Meanwhile, former Fiji residents in Canada yesterday donated $10,000 to the PM's fund.

Ashiana, a member of the team and the business manager of Radio India Canada, said they had managed to collect a total of $108,000 in an 8 hour radio-a-thon after hearing about the floods and this money has been used for those in Ba, Lautoka and Sigatoka.
