Five men appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court this morning charged with various counts of larceny from the docks after they allegedly stole items from a container donated to the Bayley Clinic.

Two of the five were former customs officers with FIRCA while the other three were former employees of Pacific Agencies and they allegedly stole mattresses and plastic chairs from the container after it was donated to the Bayley Clinic in October 2007.

The five have pleaded not guilty to the charges and the trial is now set for October 6th.
