Five people are now homeless after a fire at Bila settlement Nadi destroyed their 2 flat lean to house last night.
National Fire Authority said an investigation is underway to establish the cause of the fire.
NFA said they received a call before midnight and when they arrived at the scene the corrugated iron and timber flats were involved in fire.
No one was at home at the time of the incident.
Meanwhile, NFA has also raised concerns on the number of fire incidence over the last few days.
According to NFA, from Friday and going into the weekend, they attended 4 fire incidences.
NFA Chief Fire Officer, Tupou Saumbulinayau said the increasing number of fire incidence shows that people have not changed their attitude toward's fire safety.
He has urged people to take precautionary measures to avoid such incidents.
