Five men charged with the alleged murder of a 31 year old man of Makoi, Nasinu, have been remanded in custody.
Mesulame Waqabaca, Tiko Uate, Sireli Ledua, Lolohea Napau and Filipe Jitoko have been charged with the murder of Simione Navulatamata on Saturday.
Their bail application was refused by Magistrate Alofa Seruvatu and they have been remanded in custody till June 3rd.
The body of the deceased was discovered at 8 miles Makoi on Saturday night by a neighbour who then informed the police about the incident.
