Five people are in Police custody after they were caught with fake drivers licence in the Western Division.
Land Transport Authority (LTA) Media officer Doreen Narayan said last week a major operation was carried out in the West and they managed to apprehend these 5 people who had forged drivers licence.
Narayan said a group of people may be involved in this licence forgery scam, adding LTA is working closely with police to get to the bottom of this case.
According to Narayan, these fake licences are designed by people well versed with graphic design, as the seized licences are very hard to differentiate from the original one.
