Five men are in custody at the CID Headquarters in Toorak after two plastic bags of white powder which is used to manufacture hard drugs was confiscated from them.
Assistant Spokesperson, Sergeant Suliano Tevita said the five were arrested at the premises of a shipping company yard in Edinburgh Drive yesterday when they went to collect the white powder.
He said police also recovered $10,000 cash from two of the suspects.
The two plastic bags of white powder were discovered in a shipping container which came in from abroad.
Police are expected to release more details later today.
