Five more people have been taken into custody for allegedly being in possession of 3,000 counterfeit Fijian dollars.

Police Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri told Fijivillage news that five people were arrested today and are being questioned by Police.

A youth from Rakiraki was also taken into custody yesterday after a tip off that this youth was walking around with a large amount of cash.

Upon searching the youth, Police had found a $100,$50,$20,$10 and $2 dollar bill and the note did not have the features of the legal tender.
