To deal with the heavy case load in the Western Division, five High Court judges and a court master will be appointed to the Lautoka High Court soon.
Chief Justice Anthony Gates has confirmed that the appointments will be made within two months.
While revealing this, the Chief Justice also highlighted that it is now essential to extend the Lautoka High Court.
Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said that apart from the Lautoka High Court, works will also be carried out in the Suva and Labasa courts.
