Five Government stakeholders will work with UNICEF for the next five years on the child protection programme which will ensure that children are protected against violence.
Today an agreement was signed by Tim Sutton from UNICEF and representatives from the Social Welfare Women and Poverty, Education, Justice Electoral Reform, Indigenous Affairs, Defence and Provincial Development.
Sutton said the protection of children is paramount so the support from families and government will really help.
The child protection programme is funded by UNICEF.
