As Health Ministry staffs enter their fourth day of Fasting, they are being reminded that they are to adopt a friendly customer service approach this year.

Speaking on a talkback show on our sister station Viti FM, Ministry Spokesperson Iliesa Tora said that Minister Dr Neil Sharma has reminded nurses and doctors that they serve the public.

This is after repeated complaints to the Ministry that some doctors and nurses are not friendly and are rude to the public.

According to Tora, the Government Health Services are dedicated to the public and this is never forgotten.

Tora said that nurses and doctors should treat their jobs as a calling and not a hassle.
