A search is underway for a 48 year old man that went missing in the Yasawa waters yesterday.
According to Police, Osea Nasau who was on his way to Naviti Island was last seen yesterday afternoon in Lautoka as he was leaving for the island.
Police say that Nasau contacted his father-in-law at around 7pm last night saying that he had hit a rock and his boat was taking on water.
A search party consisting of Police and Navy officers are currently searching for him however they are asking people staying near the sea to keep a look out for a blue wooden boat.
