A 44 year old man died after the vehicle he was travelling in veered off the road in Navua and hit an FEA post this morning.
The victim, a passenger in the vehicle, was returning from Lautoka to Suva when the driver fell asleep.
The driver who received minor injuries is currently being questioned by the Navua police.
Police are calling on drivers to take precaution while driving.
