A total of 43 nominations in 11 categories from 15 sporting federations were received by FASANOC after the nominations closed yesterday.

The nominations will now go through a vetting process under a joint committee of FASANOC and Fiji Sports Council who will assess the nominees before handing the nominations over to the judging panel of Malakai Veisamasama, Major Inia Kafoa, Cathy Wong, Satish Narain and Hamidan Bibi.

It is also being confirmed that Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama will be the chief guest while the guest speaker is yet to be confirmed.

The Fiji Sports Awards will be held on the 2nd of March.
