Fiji Sports Council CEO, Litiana Loabuka has made it clear the $4.2 million allocation for the council in the 2013 National Budget will strictly be used for the upgrading of the National Stadium.

Loabuka added it was anticipated that the upgrading works at the stadium will cost $15 million but it has gone up due to the extent of damages at the stadium.


She added the National Stadium should be ready for opening at the end of March next year with the Marist 7s tournament.
