A 4 year old girl drowned in a creek in Naviyago village in Lautoka yesterday.
Assistant Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the victim went to collect firewood with her grandmother when the incident took place.
The grandmother was busy collecting firewood and after sometime discovered the 4 year old missing.
Her body was later found floating in the creek.
A post mortem is expected to be conducted soon.
