Four children with heart ailments are expected to leave for Chennai in India this Sunday for treatment.
These 4 children are the first batch to go this year through the Vodafone ATH Foundation Child Heart Foundation.
According to Dr Ponnu Gounder from the Fiji College of General Practitioners, the 4 will be accompanied by a parent and will be in India for two weeks.
Meanwhile, 36 children with critical heart ailments and who cannot be treated in Fiji together with their parents and doctors have been sent to Chennai for treatment for the past years under the partnership of Vodafone ATH Foundation and Child Heart Foundation.
