Police and prison officers have managed to arrest four of the seven remand prisoners who escaped from the Suva Court House remand cell yesterday afternoon.
Police spokesperson Fred Elbourne confirmed that Jone Di, Eparama Mani, Sefania Turagadamudamu and Kilioni Vatutaqiri were recaptured last night and early this morning.
The hunt still continues for the remaining three.
They are Lomani Tamani, Filipe Delana and Sunia Raroqio.
Meanwhile, the taxi driver whose taxi was used by the seven is in police custody.
He was arrested last night.
The seven escaped from the holding cell after cutting open the grill.
