The four people who were taken in for questioning in relation to the alleged murder of a 58 year old woman of Toorak, Suva on Friday morning have been released.

Assistant Spokesperson Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri said the four were released last night.

He said the matter is still under investigation and some more people will be taken in for questioning.

The post mortem report of the woman has revealed that she was strangled before her burnt body was found in Toorak.

Meanwhile, Police have raised concern on the number of fire incidents around the country in the past few days.

Deputy Director Police Operations SP Erami Raibe said people should always take precautions so that their properties are not destroyed fire.
