Four of the best schools will battle in five different grades for the top two spots in this weekend's secondary school's rugby semifinals.

The Deans Trophy is the top prize of the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby which was introduced in 1939 and is the oldest competitive tournament in Fiji rugby.

QVS was the first school to win the prestigious trophy and they have since won the Deans Trophy 15 times and drawn five times.

They were also the first school to win last year after the Deans was competed in the under 18 grade.  

Lelean Memorial School has won the trophy 12 times and drawn five times while Ratu Kadavulevu School has won 16 times and drawn four times.

Marist Brothers High School won the Deans on four occasions and drawn twice while Latter Day Saints College, Nasinu Teachers College, Navuso Agricultural College and Suva Grammar School have each won the trophy once.

Grammar also drew with RKS in 2005.

The original Deans Trophy was donated by the Maori All Blacks team that toured Fiji.

The venue for this weekends semifinals will take place at Prince Charles Park.
