4 investigated over MH robbery
Police regional information officer west Wame Bautolu confirmed to Fijivillage that police were following some leads which led to the arrest of four men in Lautoka.
Four masked men, armed with cane knives and pinch bars, stormed into the supermarket and went into a room where all the weekend’s takings were kept, and stole more than $40,000 cash and other items before fleeing in a car which was earlier stolen from the Lautoka hospital car park.
Meanwhile, a 60 year old mother of three is fighting for her life at the Suva Private Hospital after she was allegedly stabbed inside her shop in Muaniweni on Thursday.
Fijivillage spoke to the family who were at the Suva Private Hospital and son Amitesh Chandra said they are praying that his mom recovers quickly.
Meanwhile, Nausori police are questioning a 38 year old farmer in relation to the case, who allegedly entered the shop and stabbed her.
