Four people including a Fijian and an Australian with Fiji descent are still missing at sea off Port Moresby.
PNG Authorities have confirmed that five men left for a fishing trip at about 5am yesterday.
During a State rescue operation one PNG national was found this morning and is currently undergoing medical treatment.
Authorities say that a distress signal from PNG Waters was received in Australia which then contacted the National Maritime Safety Authority.
General Manager of the Royal Papua New Guinea Yacht Club Eron Butt has told PNGTV that they have not received further information about the four people who are still missing out at sea.
PNG authorities say that the boat was reportedly drifting 29.7km from Port Moresby at about midday yesterday.
