Four people are being interrogated at the CID Headquarters in relation to the missing firearms in 2000.

Director Operations, SSP Waisea Tabakau has confirmed the four were taken in for questioning after police received information through someone that the four are allegedly linked to the missing firearms.

When questioned whether the four in custody are from Suva, SSP Tabakau said its premature for him to comment further as investigations are still underway and some other people may also be questioned.

A total of 13 firearms are still missing since the 2000 coup.
