4 children chosen to undergo heart surgery
The four children who will leave the Fiji shores next week are being assisted by Children's Heart Foundation and Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation and they were at the Vodafone Head Office to collect their airtickets today.
The grandmother of Isaih Vugakoto couldn't hold her emotions when the air ticket was handed to her. She said Isaih was just 2 month old when they came to know about his sickness.
Joseph Taukave, the brother of the 11 year old Berrie Taukave, who is originally from Rotuma said his brother has been staying with him for over a month now and is hopeful that the surgery is a success.
The fourth child who turned a year old on Thursday and is staying in Ba will be leaving for Chennai on 20th October.
These four kids will bring the number to 36 who have been assisted since the funding began in 2007.
