Nausori Police have laid charges on four men who were taken into custody in relation to the death of a 26 year old James Shankaran Nair whose body was found on Kuku, Bau road Nausori yesterday morning.
Divisional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Arthur White confirmed a few minutes ago that four men were charged with manslaughter this afternoon and they will be taken to Nausori court tomorrow.
Post mortem conducted revealed that Nair died of a fractured skull.
According to Police, the suspects told police that they picked him up in a twin cab in Nausori and were on their way to Kuku Bau road at around 2am yesterday morning when the deceased allegedly jumped off the moving vehicle.
The deceased and the suspects are living in the same area.
