Police have arrested four men for allegedly illegally fishing in Kadavu waters yesterday.
Assistant Police spokesperson Sergeant Suliano Tevita said these men were arrested by a joint operation team of Navy and Fisheries officials.
He added about $250 worth of fish was seized.
Tevita said two men were from Suva and two from Kadavu who did not have fishing licenses to do commercial fishing.
The four are currently being questioned by police at the Central Police Station and charges are expected to be laid soon.
