Police are still questioning the four men who were taken into custody in relation to the missing firearms on Wednesday night.

Officers at the CID Headquarters have confirmed that no charges have been laid as police are still following leads that have been provided to them so far.

Police have also indicated that some more people may be taken in for questioning.

Director Operations SSP Waisea Tabakau told Fijivillage this morning it’s premature for him to comment.

They were taken in for questioning on Wednesday night.

A total of 13 firearms are still missing since the 2000 coup.
