4 Eastern zone teams to qualify for next year’s Deans quarters

Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union has confirmed that 4 Under 18 teams from the Eastern zone will qualify for the Coca Cola Zero Deans Trophy quarter final next year compared to three from the previous years.

This comes as Lomaivuna Secondary School defeated Central College of Lautoka 15-13 in the Under 18 play off yesterday.

The result means that there will be only one qualifier from the Western Zone next year.

Meanwhile, Queen Victoria School Under 18 side successfully defended their Deans Trophy title after beating Nasinu Secondary School 31-21.

In the under 14 Marist beat Suva Grammar 15-7 while their under 15 shrugged off Lelean Memorial School 29-16.

In the under 16 Ratu Navula proved too strong for QVS winning 20-8 while the under 17 Ratu Navula defeated Ratu Sukuna Memorial School 25-10.
