A four bedroom house has been destroyed by fire at Cheng Place, Rawai in the last hour.
Firefighters are still at the scene trying to put out the blaze.
The owner Samisoni Bale said he was inside with his wife and two grandchildren when the fire started they managed to escape without injury.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
