The $3.8 million dollars promised for tourism improvement is still needed by the Tourism Industry.
This has been confirmed by Fiji Visitors Bureau Board Chairman, Patrick Wong who said, that they are still waiting on the tourism ministry and the interim government to release the funds.
Wong said despite this, the Bureau is continuing with their promotions on a local and international level.
Interim Minister for Tourism, Bernadette Rounds Ganilau has confirmed that the ministry is awaiting the release of funds from the Ministry of Finance.
