A survey team from Save the Children Fiji has found that students in more than 37 Primary and Secondary Schools are in dire need of assistance.
Chief Executive Chandra Shekhar said they are now preparing the packages and other assistance that will be given to the needy children.
He said they are also liaising with the school heads to identify other students who may have been missed out during the survey.
Figures released by Save the Children shows that more than 2761 students affected by flood need assistance.
