"Whatever you do, do it to the best of your abilities"
This was the message by the Minister for Education Filipe Bole while addressing 35 Peace Corps volunteers at a swearing in ceremony in Nadave this morning.
Bole said the Peace Corps volunteers program has been in Fiji since 1968, seven years after it was established in the United States.
Bole added the volunteer program is to assist in teaching of secondary education in rural schools and the product of their hard work and dedication will hold key positions in government and the private sector.
The volunteers have been undergoing Fijian Language and Culture training at selected villages and communities in the Rewa Provinces for the past 7 weeks.
