Five 7's players have forced their way into the 32 member training squad for the Pacific Nations Cup in June.

National Coach Inoke Male said these players are Nikola Matawalu, Joeli Lutumailagi, Watisoni Votu, Aisake Katonibau and Metuisela Talebula.

Male said that these players were picked because they have been playing well during the 7s season and will also adapt faster to the new game plan.

FRU has named 11 overseas based players and 21 local with a total of 16 players likely to make their debut.

Stand out player during the 15s trials Niko Ratumaitavuki has also been included in the squad alongside Brumbies player Jerry Yanuyanutawa.

Male has named Rugby World Cup player Netani Talei as the captain for this tour.

The team will march into camp this Sunday and the 24 players for the Pacific Nations Cup in Japan on June 5th will be announced next Thursday.
