As the testing of Brucellosis continues, a total of 314 cattle have been found to be infected with the disease.
Primary Industry Spokesperson Jo Uluilakeba said officials had carried out tests at farms in the Central and Western Division, adding a total of four thousand three hundred eighty two cattle have been tested.
Uluilakeba said all the 314 infected cattle have been found at farms in the Central Division.
He adds testing continues at farms in the Tailevu North areas.
Uluilakeba is calling on the public to follow the precautionary measures when coming into contact with cattle. He however could not disclose as to how many cows have been slaughtered that have been found with Brucellosis,
