The foundation for the Suva Grammar Jubilee Trust Fund has been laid with more than $30,000 dollars given within 2 hours last night at the 50th Golden Jubilee Celebration Soli night.

The Trust Fund has been set up with the aim of raising money to fund repair and maintenance work at the school and to help needy students.

Contributions for the Golden Jubilee soli night came as far as China, Hawaii, Sinai, England New Zealand and individual contributions.

Various ex-students Associations fundraised from the beginning of the year, with some donating other items towards the school.

President of the Ex-students Association Jasmine Tam says as well as the contribution of money from the 60's to the 2000 decade there are other projects that have been adopted by some ex-students association.
