After $30,000 worth of marijuana was stolen from the Koronivia Research station, a number of cases are expected to be affected.
According to police, charges on suspects can only be laid when the government analysis confirms that the leaves confiscated from suspects are marijuana.
Now that the leaves are stolen, police will have to find other avenues to charge the suspects implicated.
Meanwhile, the hunt still continues for the unknown people who broke into the Koronivia Research station and stole 2 sacks and 2 pillowcases of marijuana.
Police are calling on the public for information.
