It is a dream come true for the three young Fijian players who have finally singed their NRL contracts this year.
This was after Penrith Panthers boss Phil Gouldis agreed to sign young flyer Kamineli Baisagale who was picked by league greats Brad Fitler and Andrew Johns late last year when they attended Etonia Nabuli’s wedding at Malomalo Village in Nadroga last year.
The other two players are Navosa High School student Eroni Tuwai who has signed a contract for the Bulldogs and Jone Waqaliva for the Roosters.
Tuwai walked two hours from his village to catch a bus and then another two hours to travel down from the highlands to meet the two NRL Legends last year.
Meanwhile, the NRL season kicks off on March 5th.
