A three year old boy lost his life yesterday after he fell into a well at his home.

Police spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed the three year old boy drowned after falling in a well at his home in Tailevu.

Sokomuri said the father left the children at home unattended and went to his plantation.

The drowning death toll now stands at 19 compared to 30 the same period last year.

Police has once again reteriated it's call for parents to monitor the movement of their children and not to leave then unsupervised.
