The Nadi Weather office has confirmed that at least three tropical cyclones are expected to form near the Fiji group before the end of cyclone season next month.
Director Rajendra Prasad said three cyclones formed near the Fiji group last year however it did not have a direct effect on land areas.
The weather office has predicted close to seven cyclones to form outside the Fiji group.
