Three students escaped injuries this morning after the bus they were travelling in veered off the road in Labasa this morning.
Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra confirmed that the incident happened in Varabale Road in Wainikoro Labasa when the driver lost control of the bus which went into a drain.
SSP Mishra said investigation is still underway to establish really happened while the bus has been taken to Land Transport Authority for inspection.
Meanwhile, Police are also investigating an incident where a ten wheeler truck tumbled into a ditch at Colo-i-Suva this afternoon.
It is believed that the driver jumped out of the ten wheeler truck and escaped injuries.
SSP Mishra has urged drivers not to speed and to concentrate while driving.
