3 plead not guilty to forgery charges
Rajnesh Singh, Fu Jinxu and Atunaisa Veitata are charged with being in possession of forged documents, uttering forged documents and demanding property on forged documents after they allegedly presented the 50 million euro cheque at the ANZ bank in Suva and tried to bank the forged document.
Their case has been adjourned to April 30th for a pre-trial conference.
Meanwhile, a former employee of Save the Children Fund today pleaded not guilty to 26 counts of larceny by servant for allegedly stealing over $38,000 from the Fund.
It is alleged that Florence Patterson between 15th February 2006 and 1st December 2006 stole cash on 26 different occasions from Save the Children Fund with sums amounting upto $3000 at a time.
The case is also adjourned to April 30th for a Pre trial conference.
