Three new Permanent Secretaries were appointed by the Public Service Commission this morning.

Savenaca Kaunisela, the current Divisional Commissioner Western has been appointed Permanent Secretary for Provincial Development and Multi Ethnic Affairs.

The current Deputy Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office Malakai Tadulala is the new Permanent Secretary for Agriculture while the RFMF's Lt. Colonel Pio Tikoduadua has been appointed to the post of Permanent Secretary for Justice, where he has been acting for the last eight months.

The former PS for Agriculture Dr. Niumaia Tabu-nakawai has been transferred to the Ministry of Forests and Fisheries to assist newly appointed Interim Minister, Joketani Cokanasiga.

This brings to 20 the number of Permanent Secretaries serving in the interim administration, including the recent appointment of Solicitor General, Christopher Pryde.
