It has been confirmed that two men and a woman have been taken in for questioning in relation to the alleged murder of a 50 year old woman of Labasa whose body was found on her door step last night.
The alleged incident took place in Raranikawai Labasa.
The three are currently been interrogated by the crime officers and charges are expected to be laid by tomorrow.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said they believe that the woman was strangled.
Inspector Sokomuri said there were some injuries on the victim’s neck and other parts of the body.

Inspector Sokomuri said there were some injuries on the victim’s neck and other parts of the body.
The three were arrested following initial police investigations.
Police are awaiting the post mortem report which is expected to be conducted today.
