Three people are admitted in the Lautoka hospital following two separate road accidents last night.

Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra said initial investigations reveal that both the accidents were caused by speeding.

He said they are awaiting the drivers involved to be discharged from the hospitals following which they will question them.

According to SSP Mishra they have booked more than 500 drivers in the last six days for speeding.

He added they are now setting up snap road blocks to clamp down on those who break road rules.

Meanwhile, as part of operation "New Dawn" drivers are also tested for Breathalyzer.
