Lautoka police have taken three people into custody in relation to a robbery at the Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority warehouse in Lautoka city on Monday.

The three allegedly assaulted the FIRCA security officer, tied him with a rope and locked him in a room.

They then allegedly robbed 10 laptops and a bag full of assorted liquor from the warehouse.

According to police, the robbery took place during a stock take of confiscated items.

The three are currently being questioned at the Lautoka Police Station.
