Fiji plays a big part in England, Tonga and New Zealand for their Rugby League World Cup campaign.

This is because the team jerseys and shorts are all made in Fiji.

Managing Director of Mark One Apparel Mark Halabe said their customer managed to secure the rights for the England team and they were making the team kit from the beginning of this year.

Halabe said the ISC logo on their jersey indicates it is made in Kalabu, Fiji.

Meanwhile, Australian based international Sportswear manufacturer Kooga which recently opened its new plant in Tavakubu, Lautoka made the New Zealand and Tongan jerseys and shorts.

Kooga is now trading as BLK or Beyond Limits Known which can be seen on their jerseys.

Meanwhile, looking at the results this morning, France pipped PNG 9-8 while defending champions New Zealand beat Samoa 42-24.

At 9am tomorrow, the Vodafone Fiji Bati meet Ireland.
