Three men charged with conspiracy to Commit Felony, Attempted arson and Damaging property for allegedly setting fire to a private vehicle belonging to the Police Director Traffic, SSP Mahesh Mishra last month have been further remanded in custody.
Hem Chand, Veer Vijay Chand and Lavin Yogesh Lal appeared in Suva High Court before Judge Justice Salesi Temo for mention.
The three were represented by lawyer Mehboob Raza.
The case has been adjourned till 16th April for bail application.
Regional Prosecuting officer Southern ASP Toduadua Vakacegu earlier confirmed that out of the three, two are minivan owners, who were operating their minivans illegally and they have now been seized.
He said one owns 7 vans while the other accused owns 8 vans, which all were operating from 8 miles.
The third accused is a van driver.
