Police are questioning three men who allegedly assaulted a 33-year-old labourer of Naduru, Nausori, to death during a drinking party.
It is alleged that the deceased was drinking with the three men on Tuesday night.
The man was taken to the Suva Private Hospital by his brother but was later transferred to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital for a scan where he passed away last night.
According to police, the deceased sustained serious injuries to his skull.
Police are treating the case as murder.
